At that time, the train collided with a sand truck standing near the crossing. In this, the left wrist of passenger Majed, who was kept outside the window of the train, fell off.

The driver came to know about the matter and stopped the train at Tongi Junction area and dropped Majed. Later locals took him to Shahid Ahsan Ullah Master General Hospital in Tongir where he was given first aid. Later he was sent to Pangu Hospital in Dhaka for better treatment, said Railway Police.

Tongi Railway Station Master Rakibur Rahman said the same thing.
