“With the closure of 14 hospitals and 45 primary care centers in the Gaza Strip, many women are forced to give birth in various shelters, in the rubble of their homes on the streets or in compromised health care facilities,” the statement said. There is a risk of infection due to lack of necessary sanitation and medical facilities in these places. Various types of complications are increasing in this.’
The United Nations has repeatedly warned that its medical facilities in Palestine are running at capacity. In this case, aid to the people of the Gaza Strip could soon cease without the supply of much-needed fuel.
