Dhaka: 1,357 dengue patients have been admitted to different hospitals in the country in the 24 hours from Thursday (November 2) morning to Friday (November 3) morning. Among them, 355 people have been admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka. One thousand and two people have been admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka.
So far, two lakh 76 thousand 163 dengue patients have been admitted and treated in various hospitals in the country. Among them, 1 lakh 287 people were treated for dengue in the two city corporation hospitals of Dhaka alone. One lakh 75 thousand 876 people received treatment in hospitals outside the two city corporations of Dhaka.
In the last 24 hours, 10 dengue patients have died in different hospitals of the country. Among them, four people died in Dhaka, six people died outside Dhaka. So far this season, 1,380 people have died due to dengue.
All this information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Friday (November 3).
According to the notification, currently, a total of 6,267 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. There are currently 1,768 dengue patients in public and private hospitals in Dhaka and 4,499 dengue patients in other hospitals.
Two lakh 68 thousand 516 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home. Among them, 97 thousand 699 in Dhaka and 1 lakh 70 thousand 817 outside Dhaka have recovered and returned home – it is mentioned in the circular.
