In this post he will get pay and allowances equal to his present post and will enjoy other benefits related to the post as per rules. This order will be effective from November 4.
According to university sources, the Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof. Akhtaruzzaman’s term ends on November 2. Prof. Maqsood Kamal, who was temporarily appointed to this position, was elected president of the DU Teachers’ Association four times. He was also the president of the Federation of University Teachers’ Association and the convenor of the Nil Dal, the pro-Awami teachers’ organization of DU.
