However, exemption in case of custodial murder
On January 27, 2010, Syed Farooq Rahman, Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan, Bajlul Huda and AKM Mohiuddin Ahmed (Lancer) were hanged in the Bangabandhu murder case.
Risaldar Mosleh Uddin, Dafadar Marfat Ali Shah and Dafadar Md. who were sentenced to death in the verdict of the murder case. The government does not have any specific information about where Abul Hashem Mridha is now. Apparently one of the accused in this case (dismissed Captain Abdul Majed) has been caught. He was sentenced to death in the Bangabandhu murder case. His death sentence was executed on the night of April 11, 2020.
All the other convicted accused are still absconding. Among them life sentence Colonel (retd.) MB Noor Chowdhury Canada and Lieut. Colonel (retd.) AM Rashed Chowdhury is in the United States. The government has been trying to bring them back for many days.

The government has been requesting at various levels of the US administration for several years to bring him back from the US.
In this regard, Law Minister Anisul Haque told Prothom Alo on the phone last night that the government is making every effort to find the absconding accused. The government continues to make every effort to bring back the accused abroad through legal process.
