Bangladesh women’s cricket team had a great T20 series against Pakistan. Despite losing the last match, Bangladesh won the three-match series by 2-1. This is Mission ODI series. Bangladesh-Pakistan three-match ODI series will start tomorrow Saturday (November 4).
Earlier, the trophy of the ODI series was unveiled on Friday (October 3) afternoon. Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana Jyoti and Pakistan captain Nida Dar unveiled the trophy at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Jyoti said in the press conference after unveiling the trophy, ‘We have won the T20 series. Which motivated the team. However, this time the format is different. If we can play as a team and according to plan in ODIs too, hopefully good results will come.’
The ODI series is very important for Bangladesh. Because, the series belongs to the ICC Women’s Championship. Earlier, India came to Bangladesh last July. The Women’s Championship also included that series. Jyoti-Marufara ended the three-match series with a 1-1 draw. The last match was a dramatic tie.
So Jyot’s aim is to take the series with Pakistan. The three matches of the series will be held on November 4, 7 and 10. The venue of all the matches is Mirpur Sherebangla National Stadium. The match will start from 9:30 am.
