Chittagong University: The marketing department of Chittagong University (CHB) has organized the second reunion program on completion of 31 years. On the occasion of this gathering of young and old, the premises of the department are decorated with colorful decorations.
The day-long festival started with the Anand Shobha Yatra at 10 am on Friday (November 3).
Professor of marketing department. The program was chaired by Muhammad Alamgir, the president of the department, Professor Dr. Tunazzina Sultana.
The chief guest at the event was Prof. Chabi Vice Chancellor. Shireen Akhtar, Special Guest Vice-Chancellor Prof. Benu Kumar Dey, Dean of Business Administration Faculty Prof. Md. Helal Uddin Nizami.
In the speech of the chief guest, Chabi Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shireen Akhtar said, our teachers are incredibly talented. From here they will move forward with their advanced thinking and knowledge. Teachers write very well. But if they go to the place where the university will be ahead in the ranking, we have to try.
The Vice-Chancellor also said that alumni contribute to all the universities of the world. We expect alumni of marketing department to actively participate in the development of the department. We want to build a bridge with you to move the university forward. Marketing graduates are very wealthy and motivated. So hopefully you will expand that spirit and stand by the university.
In the closing speech of the program, the president of CHBI Marketing Department, Prof. Dr. Tunazzina Sultana said that all the teachers and students of the department have contributed in organizing this reunion event today. I hope this department will move forward with all their efforts.
A panel discussion on ‘Past, Present and Future of Marketing’ was organized after the inaugural function. It was attended by 350 alumni as well as current students. Professor of marketing department. Professor Syed Ahsanul Alam, Chairman of Asian Group MA Alam, Chairman of Equity Property Management Limited Mahfuzul Haque, Chief Executive Officer of Well Group Syed Nurul Islam, DGM of Abul Khair Group spoke at the discussion meeting moderated by Fuad Hasan. Shahnewaz Ahmed, BSRM Zonal Sales Head Maqchud Ul Alam and Bikash General Manager KMN Hadiuzzaman.
