Tomorrow is National Constitution Day

Dhaka, November 3, 2023 (BSS): Tomorrow November 4 is ‘National Constitution Day’. Various programs have been taken up to celebrate the day this year with the theme of ‘Bangabandhu’s Thoughts of the Constitution’.
On this occasion, President Md. Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages highlighting the significance of National Constitution Day.
The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has taken various programs on the occasion of ‘National Constitution Day 2023’. Highlighting the significance of the day, the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Department of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has organized a seminar at Hotel Radisson Blue Water Garden in the capital tomorrow at 11 am. Speaker of the National Parliament. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury will attend as the chief guest. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque will preside over the event.

Besides, a discussion program has been organized on the occasion of National Constitution Day at Bangladesh Supreme Court tomorrow at 3:30 pm. The Chief Justice of the Maldives Uz. Ahmed Muthasim Adnan is the chief guest, Chief Justice of Bangladesh Obaidul Hasan is the president and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque is scheduled to attend as the special guest.
In addition to the publication of a special circular in the National Daily tomorrow, initiatives have been taken to display posters and banners and distribute leaflets at various places in the capital. Various programs have been organized under the initiative of district administration across the country.
It should be noted that the day is being celebrated for the second time this year. The day was celebrated for the first time last year when November 4 was declared as Class ‘A’ National Constitution Day.
