Evidence has been found that the security company guards of the booth were involved in this incident. Efforts are on to arrest them.
Moin Uddin Shipon, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Sylhet Metropolitan Police Airport Police Station, said that two guards of CCUREX Company were involved in the daring robbery at the bank booth. In this incident, Sandeep Das, the in-charge of the security company, filed a case accusing two of their employees as plaintiff.
Regarding the reason why the bank authorities or officials are not plaintiffs in the case, he said that the booths are mainly under the security company. Even the booth password is with them. That’s why security companies are responsible. So their people are plaintiffs. However, the names of the accused cannot be disclosed for the sake of arrest.
