Ongoing blockade is a peaceful and inclusive program: Bangladesh NAP

Bangladesh NAP Chairman MN Shaun Sadeqi and Secretary General Engineer Abdul Barik said that the blockade-hartal is a program of democratic movement for the people’s rights. Great leaders have carried out this program in the movement for the rights of freedom seekers and deprived people in different countries of the world. But as part of the simultaneous movement, the government is running multi-faceted disinformation based on the hartal-blockade program announced by the BNP. However, this ongoing blockade is a peaceful, public and one-sided program of demands.

In the statement, the Bangladesh NAP leaders said that since October 28, many misinformation and conflicts surrounding BNP’s simultaneous program are becoming clear – who is involved in them. Internationally too, there has been a clear opinion that government people are responsible for the violence surrounding BNP’s peaceful program. So today suddenly there is a huge question in the public mind about what master plan the government is preparing by raising the threat of sabotage. Whether there is any conspiracy to blame the opposition party by making a planned incident – that has also created a deep fear in the public mind.

They also said that BNP’s simultaneously declared blockade is a peaceful, public-oriented and one-sided program of demands. People’s demands cannot be held back by adopting nefarious plans. People believe that the threat of sabotage by the government and its various agencies is politically motivated.
