On the second day of the blockade announced by the BNP, party leaders and activists started taking positions on the roads in different parts of the country, including the capital, to protest the police’s obstruction of the mass rally and demand the release of the arrested leaders and activists.

As part of this, a procession was taken out on Wednesday (November 1) at 8 am in the capital Rampura Bishwa Road under the leadership of Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

At that time Rizvi said, our movement is the people’s movement. Movement for restoration of democracy and rights. This movement cannot be stopped by threats, shooting, killing, repression. This time, BNP leaders and workers will return home after establishing the rights of the people.

Meanwhile, under the direction of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP member secretary Aminul Haque, the leaders of Rupnagar thana BNP and all organizations are preparing to block the Beribandh highway of Rupnagar thana.
