8 of the rank of Additional DIG of Police

Dhaka: Eight additional DIG officers of Bangladesh Police have been transferred. On Monday (October 30) by order of the President, the senior assistant secretary of the police branch-1 of the public security department of the Ministry of Home Affairs. They were transferred in an order signed by Mahabur Rahman Sheikh.

The order is directed to be effective immediately.

Police Directorate, Dhaka (TR position) Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police Md. Ghiyas Uddin Ahmed, Additional Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Battalion and Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mymensingh Range. Sajjadur Rahman has been made Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dhaka Range. The transfer order of Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police of Dhaka Special Branch Mohammad Rashidul Islam Khan as Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police of Dhaka Range has been cancelled.

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Additional Police Commissioner Vijay Basak as Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajshahi Range, Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajshahi Range Md. Rashidul Hasan has been appointed as Additional Police Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Additional Police Commissioner MA Masud has been appointed as Additional Deputy Police Commissioner of Industrial Area Police, Additional Deputy Inspector General of Industrial Area Police Masud Ahmed has been appointed as Additional Police Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, Additional Police Commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan Police. Sajid Hossain has been transferred as Captain (Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police) in 6 Armed Police Battalion at Mahalchari in Khagrachari.
