Five more people died of dengue in the last 24 hours in Barisal, Faridpur and Chittagong. News sent by Yugantar Bureau: Two more named Shaon and Parveen have joined the death row due to dengue fever in Barisal division. With this, the number of dead in the department stood at 77. They died while undergoing treatment at Shere Bangla Medical College Hospital in the 24 hours before 8 am on Monday. At the same time, another 381 people were infected with dengue and admitted to various government hospitals. Shaon was a resident of Pirojpur’s Nesharabad upazila and Parveen was a resident of Barisal’s Banaripara upazila. Another woman died of dengue while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital in Faridpur. The deceased woman is Suryaban Begum, wife of Ali Mia of Kaulibera union of Bhanga upazila. Two more died of dengue in Chittagong. With this, the number of deaths due to dengue this year has reached 68. This information was informed in the report published by Chittagong District Civil Surgeon’s office on Monday. The office informed that 147 more dengue patients have been admitted to different hospitals in the 24 hours before 8 am. Chittagong Civil Surgeon’s Office District Entomologist Entezar Ferdauch said that a man named Balram Das died while undergoing treatment at the private Evercare Hospital on Monday morning. He was suffering from various complex diseases. The man was admitted to the hospital on September 9. He is a resident of Sadarghat area of ​​the city. Earlier, a man named Chittaranjan Pal died in the same hospital on Friday night.
