Applications for National Film Awards-2021 can be made till 22 September
Dhaka, September 20, 2022 (BASS): Applications will be accepted from the producers who wish to participate in the National Film Awards-2021 competition till 5 pm on September 22.
A notice has been published in the National Daily newspaper calling for applications for awarding the National Film Award-2021.
Producers who wish to participate in the competition must apply in the prescribed format, a press release said today. Application form/table can be collected from Bangladesh Film Censor Board office. Application form can also be downloaded from Censor Board website www.bfcb.gov.bd. A copy of the relevant film on DVD/Pendrive should be submitted along with each application form.
The notification states that 3 copies of CV (Bangla) with pp (passport) size photograph of artists/artists/individuals proposed for award, attested photocopy of national identity card/attested photocopy of passport (if applicable)/attested photocopy of birth certificate in case of child artists to be submitted along with the application. will be
Note that like every year, National Film Awards will be given in 28 cases. These are: Lifetime Achievement Award, Best Film, Best Short Film, Best Documentary Film, Best Film Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Actor/Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Actor /Actress Comedic Character, Best Child Artist, Special Award in Child Artist Category, Best Music Director, Best Dance Director, Best Singer, Best Singer, Best Lyricist, Best Composer, Best Narrator, Best Screenwriter, Best Dialogue Writer, Best Editor, Best Art Direction, Best cinematographer, best sound designer, best costume and props and best makeup man.
According to the National Film Awards policy, only Bangladeshi nationals will be considered for the National Film Awards. Films made in joint production will be considered for the award, but foreign artists and crew of the joint production film will not be considered for the award. A film to be considered for the National Film Award must have received a censor certificate from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board and released theatrically in the year under consideration (2021). There is no requirement for theatrical release in case of short and documentary films, but they have to get censor certificate in the year under consideration (in 2021).
