Eminent musician Bappa Majumdar’s formal career spans three decades. His creations during this period are outstanding. Solo, band, cinema, theater and stage – constantly enthralling the audience with music and voice. But this is the first time he is appearing before the audience in a new atmosphere, alone. In other words, despite participating in many concerts in the country and abroad, this is the first time that a solo show is being organized around Bappa.
Airstar and Alive are organizing this concert titled ‘Alive Experience’. This special solo concert will be held on September 23 at Hall No. 3 of International Convention Center Bashundhara in the capital. In a report, online media Bangla Tribune reported this news.
According to the source of the organizer, the performance of Bappa Majumdar will continue from 6 pm to midnight on this day. Three singers Kona, Konal and Shubo will participate in the program as guest artists.
Excited about this arrangement, Bappa Majumder said, “I am going to perform in the first solo concert – it is a different kind of fun thing. I have a music career of 30 years. But I don’t know why in this long tour, a single concert was not done. It seems quite unusual now. It is also true, it has never happened like this! Maybe never thought that way. This is happening now. Organizing Alive gave me that courage.”
The organizers said that the audience can enjoy this concert by collecting any ticket at the price of 600, 1,200 and 3,000 taka. Tickets will be available from September 10 at select locations with independent apps.
Vocalist Bappa Majumder made his debut in 1995 with the single album “Takhan Bhor Bela”.
