Poli Ahmed, wife of legendary actor Anisur Rahman Milan, has passed away. The news was confirmed by the actor himself.
Polly breathed his last at Kern Medical Hospital in Bakersfield at 11:57 a.m. local time on Sunday (September 4). He was suffering from cancer for several years.
Milan wrote on social media, ‘My wife Polly Ahmed passed away this morning in California, America. Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun.’
Ronak Hasan, general secretary of Actors and Performers Sangh expressed grief over the death of Milon’s wife and said, ‘Poly Ahmed, wife of our beloved actor and performers Sangh Bangladesh Vice President Anisur Rahman Milon, has passed away. May his soul rest in peace.’
The talented producer Chayanika Chowdhury wrote on social media, ‘What will I write, what will I say! Anisur Rahman Milan’s wife, means our Polly Bhabi is no more. He has gone to the land of no return.’
Sharing his memories, he writes, ‘It seems that everyone went to the Nilgiris that day. How happy I was! Milan, I have no words to tell you. May you have strength to endure, our son. You have suffered a lot these many years, you have tried. May you rest in peace wherever you are. This prayer.’
Model-actress Ipsita Shabnam Srabanti wrote, ‘Innalillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun. I’m so sorry, Milan. May Allah grant him (Pali) Paradise.’
