Popular small screen actress Mehzabeen will be seen on the big screen this time. He announced the movie as “Priya Malati”.

Details about the film were announced in the presence of the actors, directors and executives of the production company at an elite hotel in Gulshan, Dhaka.
Under the direction of director Shankh Dasgupta, this movie is a joint production of Frame Per Second and Charki and will be released in the theaters of the country this year.
Adnan Al Rajib, producer of Frame Per Second, one of the film’s production companies, said, “Producing is a bit different for me. First, producing globally is not just about investing money. It’s actually being with the creative, who will be the TG, what will the story be like, working on the release of the movie. It’s a whole process. I wanted to stay with the process. And secondly, the story of ‘Priya Malati’ is completely unique. Everyone loves this story when Shankh (director) shares it with us. We have never seen such a story. Also Mehzabeen’s association with the film has added another dimension.”
Redwan Roni, CEO of Charki, another production company, said, “Being able to be with this movie is very emotional for me. Every movie is special. The joy of making a movie with close people is beyond words. A great team including talented director, talented actress has been associated with this movie. Now it is up to us to reach the audience in cinema halls.”
The director of the film Shankh Dasgupta said, “Making a movie is always a difficult task for me. But the two producers have made it easy for me to do ‘Priya Malati’. I only thought about the production and the story. Along with that, I got with those who I thought as cast. It is also a pleasure to work with an actress like Mehjabeen. Thanks to all those who worked in front of and behind the camera of this movie.
Meanwhile, Mehzabeen said about his movie, “The announcement of this movie is very special for me. The audience will see a different Mehzabeen in this movie. I feel really lucky to work with such a team.”
Apart from Mehzabeen, Nader Chowdhury, Shahjahan Samrat, Rizvi Riju and others acted in the film ‘Priya Malti’. This film has been shot in different places of the country including Dhaka-Barisal in September-October 2023. Along with announcing the name of the movie, Mehzabeen’s birthday was also celebrated by cutting a cake. Mustafa Monwar, Zefar Rahman, Raka Nausheen Nawar and members of journalists, production houses Filmy Feature, Frame Per Second and Charki were also present in this event.
