Buy a movie ticket and get a free biryani packet. A cinema owner of the country has come up with such a novel way to attract the audience. Of course, he is also benefiting from it. As the issue is being discussed in the area, the audience has also increased in that cinema hall.
The incident took place at the traditional Jhongkar Cinema Hall in Dhunat Upazila Sadar of Bogra. They are giving away a packet of Biryani free of cost to the audience with every ticket of Rs.100. This special ‘offer’ has been launched for visitors from 12 noon on Saturday (April 20).
It is known that the Jhangar cinema hall owned by Isa Khan in Dhunat town was established in 1984.
It has been a favorite among local visitors since its opening. However, the cinema hall was practically closed for the last decade. The main reason for this is the demand for good films. At one point, the film was stopped in the cinema hall due to lack of audience.
After a long decade, the authorities have again started showing films in Jhangar Cinema Hall from April 20.
Presently, the Eid movie ‘Lipstick’ starring Adar Azad-Pooja Cherry and directed by Kamruzzaman Roman is being screened in the hall. The authorities said that the number of visitors has increased due to Eid pictures and the hall authority’s offer.
Imran Hossain, managing director of the hall, said that there are 500 seats for the audience in Jhongka cinema hall. The price of each ticket is 100 rupees.
Now a free packet of Biryani is being given to every visitor along with the ticket. This system of news will continue for the next one month.
He said, ‘Lipstick’ film is being screened at 12 noon, 3 pm, 6 pm and 9 pm every day in our cinema hall. But due to extreme heat, the attendance of visitors is less at 12 noon and 3 pm every day. However, more visitors come at 6 pm and 9 pm.
The visitors of the hall said that this is the first time that the issue of getting free biryani with the ticket in the cinema hall. I was very happy to taste biryani besides watching good movies while sitting in the hall. If this system is kept open, the audience thinks that the audience will return to the cinema hall.
Managing Director Imran Hossain said, “Biryani will be given free with the ticket as long as the audience comes to the cinema hall.” Basically, this arrangement has been made to attract visitors.
