Who won the International Emmy Award

The 51st International Emmy Awards took place on Monday night US local time in New York City. India won two Emmys this year.

56 contestants from 20 countries have been nominated for this year’s Emmy Awards. Martin Freeman won Best Actor. He received this award for the drama ‘The Responder’. The best drama series is ‘The Empress.’

India’s Veer Das won the International Emmy Award for Comedy. He won this award for his popular show Veer Das: Landing on Netflix. Ekta Kapoor also received the International Emmy Director’s Award for Contribution to Indian Television.
