Sunil said in the interview that when he reached Mumbai, he first got a job as a sweeper. Many times he was also asked to iron the actors’ clothes. It was early days so he enjoyed every job he got. After a lot of hard work, he gradually got small roles in Prithviraj Theater plays, then he met Govinda Puri. It was Govind Puri who gave Sunil an opportunity to work in Rajshri Productions’ Nadia Ke Paar. In this film, he was seen in the role of actor Sachin Pilgaonkar’s friend Dashrath.
For auditions for ‘Sri Krishna’-serial, he was again asked to deliver Ravana’s dialogues in the style of Mahatma-Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. After passing the audition, Sunil got the chance to play the role of ‘Vasudev’. Apart from Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Krishna’, he also worked in ‘Alif Laila’. Today Sunil lives in Mumbai with his family.
