The highest honor for the country’s films is the National Film Awards. This year’s event with the 2022 National Film Awardees is going to be held on November 14. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the prizes to the winners on this day. The event will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. Ferdous-Purnima duo will perform at this event.
The country’s showbiz stars will dance and sing in this event of National Film Awards 2022. Rehearsals have already started on Bengali television. The list of performers includes solo dances by Sadia Islam Mou, Nusrat Faria, Mahia Mahi and Tama Mirza. Apart from this, there are duet dances of Simon Sadiq-Dighi, Adar Azad-Pooja Cheri, Sohana Saba-Gazi Noor and Zayed Khan-Anchal. Music will be performed by Balaam and Conal. Ivan Shahriar Sohag is choreographing the dance at the prize distribution ceremony.
Actors Khosru and Rozina are getting lifetime honors at this year’s National Film Awards. Chanchal Chowdhury is getting the best actor award. He is getting this award for his performance in the movie ‘Hawa’. On the other hand, Jaya Ahsan and Rikita Nandini Shimu jointly received the best actress award. For acting in the movies ‘Beauty Circus’ and ‘Shimu’ respectively.
