Jaya-Chanchal-Shimu, Rozina-Khosru get lifetime honors for National Film Awards

The list of National Film Awardees has been released in a notification by the Ministry of Information on Tuesday.

In recognition of their glorious and outstanding contribution to the film industry, 27 eminent artists and crews have been nominated for National Film Awards this year.

Actor and brave freedom fighter Kamrul Alam Khan Khosru and actress Roshan Ara Rozina are getting lifetime honors in film awards.

SM Kamrul Ahsan’s ‘Ghare Fera’ won the award for the best short film. And the best documentary film. ‘Bangabandhu and Dhaka University’ by AJM Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said in the notification, Subhashish Bhowmik won the best actor for playing the role of Khal in ‘Deshantar Cinema’. And Saiful Imam (Dipu Imam) won the award for the best comedy character for the film ‘Operation Sundarban’.

The joint Best Child Artist award was for ‘Rohinga’ and ‘Veeratva’ respectively for Rishi Akhter and Muntaha Emilia. Mahmudul Islam Khan (Ripon Khan) won the best music director for the film ‘Payer Chhap’. Bappa Majumder is the best singer. He was given this award for the song ‘A Mon Vije Jaye…’ in the movie ‘Operation Sundarban’. Atiya Akhtar Anisa was the best singer. Best Lyricist Rabiul Islam Jiban and Best Composer Shaukat Ali Imon.
