The Prosenjit-Rituparna duo started touring in the mid-nineties. The first film was a super hit. After that, the two have gifted the audience with movies like ‘Mayar Bandhan’, ‘Baba Ken Chakar’, ‘Swami Ghar’, ‘Moner Mansoom’ one by one. However, Rituparna and Prasenjit did not work together for a long time after the release of the movie ‘Shashurbari Zindabad’. But the popularity of the two has not declined at all. Proof of that was ‘Praktan’ directed by Nandita Roy and Shivprasad Mukhopadhyay.

However, Prosenjit posted a picture of the preparations and wrote, “New job…new team…old friend.” This new film is being produced by Surinder Films. It is hoped that the shooting of the film will start very soon.
