Director and actor Gautam Halder died of heart attack in a private hospital in Kolkata on Friday morning. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan stepped on the big screen holding the hand of Gautam Haldar. Vidya acted in ‘Bhalo Theko’. Apart from Vidya, this Gautam Halder film also starred actors like Soumitra Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Devashankar Halder.

Actress Chaiti Ghoshal grabbed attention by playing the role of Nandini in Gautam Halder’s drama ‘Raktakaravi’. Chaiti told Sangam Pratid Digital, “I am Nandini of Gautamdar Raktkarbir. This opportunity from Gautamdar served as an important chapter in the path of self-development. Gautama used to say, Raktakarvi can be with many parties, but Nandini will be only you. It owes me a lot. I am devastated.”
