For three consecutive days, the daily number of Covid-19 cases has remained below seven thousand across the country. According to the Covid bulletin issued by the Union Health Ministry, the daily number of corona infected in the last 24 hours is 6,804. On Saturday, the number was 7,219. A look at the state-wise Covid situation shows that Kerala still tops the list of daily infections. In the last 24 hours, the number of daily infected in Kerala is 1,416. It is followed by Maharashtra (1,272), Karnataka (941), Tamil Nadu (473) and Rajasthan (265) in the list of daily infections.

According to the Union Health Ministry’s Covid Bulletin, 26 people have died due to Covid in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, five people in Kerala, four in Maharashtra and three in the capital have died due to corona. Apart from this, two deaths were reported in Nagaland, Punjab, Gujarat and West Bengal and one each in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Sikkim. On Saturday this number was 33. So far 5 lakh 30 thousand 557 people have died due to covid in the country.
