Southern star Yash turned down the role of Ravana in Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana. Fans were surprised by the actor’s change of heart overnight. Recently, the reason behind his move came to light. His new film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is coming next year. Kareena Kapoor Khan will play the role of his sister in the film.

The makers are not compromising on the budget of ‘Ramayan’. Yash did not agree to the remuneration of 150 crores, so that he could act in a better role. Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’ stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita. However, Yash is not associated with ‘Ramayan’ as an actor but remains as a co-producer. The Dakshini star said, “For a long time I wanted to make such a film.
