Entertainment Desk: The family of the famous stage and television actor Abdul Quader filed a complaint with the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) against a person for trolling child artiste Simreen Lubaba. The person was arrested by DB.
On Monday (November 20) afternoon, actress Tanzin Tisha went to the DB office to meet Additional Commissioner of Police Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid at Minto Road in the capital.
Then DB Chief Haroon Or Rashid spoke to reporters about the complaint. He then informed the arrest of Lubaba’s troller.
DB Pradhan said, “Like Tanzin Tisha, child artiste Simrin Lubabao also approached us. A person posted a video taunting him in various ways. Lubaba complains to us in writing. We have brought him against whom he complained. Being interrogated.”
Before this, on November 1, the mother of this child artist, Zahida Islam Jamie told a private television, “My daughter is very young. Adults cannot accept the kind of online bullying that is happening right now. As a mother I understand that. The girl is suffering from depression. If this continues, he should be removed from the media soon.”
