Dropped out of movies due to politics

The once popular Dhallywood actress Dilara Hanif Purnima has been away from acting for a long time. Even though he worked on three films with a break, they are waiting for release.

Poornima has less presence in acting but is seen occasionally in presentations. In continuation of this, he is presenting the National Film Award distribution ceremony.

Appearing in an event recently, Purnima said that she was left out of many films due to the politics of the film industry.

Purnima said, now the films have reduced a lot. Many artists have stayed at home. Many people are not getting film work because of politics. I am the victim of the same politics! I have been left out of many movies without any reason. All this happened because there was politics. Now FDC is also getting smaller.

Purnima is not a regular on the big screen even though there is demand from the audience. But why? On such a question, the actress commented, according to the movies that are currently playing on the big screen, I am not getting the kind of offers that I want to play. That is why the amount of work has decreased.

While working on the OTT platform, Purnima said, “There are some stories where some offensive scenes may have to be acted.” But personally I can’t work on any offensive scenes. Since there is no censor in OTT, it turned out that the scene was very important to the story. I have to return all such stories. Later they may take a better actress. That’s why I think it’s my personal problem.

Purnima starrer is currently awaiting release ‘Ahare Jiban’ directed by Chhatku Ahmed with government grant. Ferdous Ahmed acted opposite him in the movie. Also, two movies ‘Gangchil’ and ‘Jam’ directed by Naeem Imtiaz Neyamul are under production. The work of both the movies has been stalled for a long time. Ferdous is opposite him in one, Arifin Shubo in another.
