Legendary Telugu actor Chandra Mohan passed away. He breathed his last on Saturday (November 11) at 9:45 a.m. due to a heart attack. He was 80 years old.

Times of India reported in a report that Chandra Mohan was suffering from old age problems for a long time. Apart from that, he was also suffering from kidney and heart problems. The veteran actor suffered a heart attack at his home yesterday morning and was taken to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, where he died. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. His last rites will be performed in Hyderabad on Monday (November 13).

Many stars of southern cinema have expressed grief over the death of Chandra Mohan. In a tweet, Allu Arjun wrote, ‘Rest in peace Chandra Mohan Guru. You will always be in our hearts.’

Ram Charan wrote in a tweet, ‘Condolences to Chandra Mohan Guru’s family. Will live among us forever through film.’ Apart from that, NTR Jr., Ravi Teja, Sai Dharam Tej, Nani etc. expressed their condolences.

Chandra Mohan was born on January 23, 1943 in Pamidimukala village of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. His real name is Mallampally Chandrasekhar Rao. But he is better known as Chandra Mohan.

Chandra Mohan became known in the Telugu film industry through the movie ‘Rangula Ratnam’ in 1966. Nandi won the best actor award from the state government for this movie. This versatile actor has acted in more than nine hundred movies in his long acting career.
