One of the most popular car company Kia has launched two new variants of their Sonet car. These two models are HTE (O) and HTK (O), both models will get petrol and diesel engine options. One of the highlights of the car is the sunroof feature and automatic climate control.
Both petrol and diesel variants of Kia Sonet will get a sunroof. The HTC model gets additional connected LED tail lights, auto AC, new additions to the car include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6-speaker sound system, keyless entry, height-adjustable driver’s seat and power windows. You will also get the facility of sunglasses holder in the car.
Safety features include 6 airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system and front parking sensors. While the car has two engine variants, only the manual option has been added in terms of transmission. The car will get a semi-digital instrument cluster.
The new model has two engine options, a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 83 PS and 115 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The second engine is a 1.5 liter diesel that can produce a maximum power of 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque. With 6 speed manual transmission.
Kia Sonet Petrol HTE (O) and HTK (O) variants are priced at Rs 7,99,000 and Rs 8,89,000 respectively in the Indian market. On the other hand, the diesel HTE (O) and HTK (O) models of the car are priced at Rs. 9 lakh 80 thousand and Rs 10 lakh 50 thousand (ex-showroom).
