Own Correspondent: Out of 35 banks listed in the stock market, 27 banks listed in the stock market showed surprise in the asset value in the three quarters till September 30, 2023. According to the financial reports published by the banks on the website of DSE recently, this information is known that the asset value of these 27 banks has increased.

The banks are – AB Bank Limited, Al-Arafah Islami Bank, Bank Asia, BRAC Bank Plc, City Bank Limited, Dhaka Bank Limited, Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, Exim Bank Limited, First Securities Islami Bank, Global Islami Bank, IFIC Bank Plc. , Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, Midland Bank Limited, NRBC Bank Limited, National Credit and Commerce Bank (NCC Bank), Premier Bank Limited, Prime Bank Limited, Pubali Bank Limited, Rupali Bank Limited, South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank, Shahjalal Islami Bank , Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL), Standard Bank Limited, Trust Bank Limited, United Commercial Bank Plc (UCB) and Uttara Bank Plc.

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited

Among the banks, Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited has seen the highest increase in asset value during the period under discussion. As on September 30, 2023, the company’s asset value per share (NAV) stood at Rs 59 38 paise. It was 53 taka 27 paisa at the same time last year.
