Elon Musk’s AI will understand jokes

Elon Musk’s XAI has joined the ranks of generative AI. He recently announced the launch of the Grokbot AI model, which is capable of understanding jokes. This AI model can also be used in social media X.

Initially it can be used by customers of X’s Premium Plus package. If you go to the Grokbot site, it is known that currently verified X users can use it experimentally.

According to Elon Musk, Grokbot can compete with artificial intelligence (AI) platforms such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Google Bird.

In a post on X, Elon Musk said XAI’s Grok will be available as a standalone app and can be used alongside X.

The startup aims to create AI tools that will ‘help mankind in its quest for knowledge’. XAI claims Grok is an AI with a bit of a sense of humor.

Earlier, Musk has strongly criticized the imposition of censorship on AI by various big tech companies.

In July this year, he launched XAI, calling it the ‘ultimate truth-seeking AI’. He claims that this AI will try to understand the nature of the universe and thereby become a worthy competitor to Google’s Bird and Microsoft’s Bing AI.

“Grok will be able to collect and use any information from X at any time, putting it at an advantage over any other AI model,” added Musk.

X and XAI are different and distinct entities. However, there is coordination in the work of these two companies owned by Elon Musk. XAI is also working with Tesla, Musk’s electric car company.

Generative AI platform ChatGPT has created a worldwide frenzy at present. In 2015, Musk co-founded OpenAI, the parent company behind the platform. However, he resigned from OpenAI’s board in 2018.
