A much cheaper Tata Safari and Harrier in one fell swoop.

Last month, Tata Motors launched the updated version of Harrier and Safari in the domestic market. Both the SUVs get their facelifted versions. But so what! Tata still has pre-facelift versions of both Harrier and Safari. And both those cars are now available at attractive discounts.

According to a media report, customers can get a benefit of up to Tk 1.40 lakh on the pre-facelift versions of both the Safari and Harrier cars. There are several attractive offers ranging from cash discounts on benefits to exchange bonuses and corporate offers.

According to the report, the pre-facelift version of both Harrier and Safari will get a benefit of up to Tk 1.40 lakh. This includes cash discount up to Rs 75,000, exchange bonus up to Rs 50,000. Not only that. On top of that, there is a corporate offer of up to Tk 15,000.

Harrier and Safari, the pre-facelift versions of both these cars are mechanically identical to the newly launched facelifted version. However, both the cars lack many new features of the facelift. The new SUVs feature ADAS with adaptive cruise control, seven airbags, paddle shifters, dual-zone automatic climate control and a touch-based control panel.

Along with that, the new car has been given a new steering wheel with a bright logo. There is also a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation display and a 10-speaker JBL audio system.

Under the bonnet, the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine is available on both the new Harrier and Safari, churning out 168 BHP and 350 Nm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
