Science and Technology Desk: Japan’s Suzuki has launched a new sports bike in the market. It is a GSX series bike. Model Suzuki GSX 8R. Suzuki showcased this bike at the EICMA 2023 held in Milan, Italy.
The arrival of this sports bike increased the pressure on Yamaha. Because, Yamaha R7 is quite popular in this segment.
This GSX is going to come as a street naked motorcycle in the middle weight segment. The new bike gets several new features including underbelly exhaust, split seat, clip-on-bar.
The front of the sports bike has upside down forks and monoshock suspension. The two-wheeler will also get disc brakes with 17-inch wheels, LED lighting, ride-by-wire, low rpm assist, traction control, bi-directional quickshifter, ridemode and anti-lock braking system.
In terms of engine, there is a 776 cc parallel twin liquid cooled engine. It can produce a maximum power of 80 horsepower and 78 Nm of torque. With 6 speed gearbox.
Suzuki currently sells several motorcycles and scooters. Jhuli has premium bikes as well as low cost scooties. The company has presented several options to the customers.
