On Monday, November 6, 2023, both gold and silver prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) declined. Gold futures on December 5, 2023 fell by Rs 218 or 0.36 per cent to Rs 60,802 per 10 gram on MCX. At the close of the previous session, gold was trading at Tk 61,020 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, silver futures on December 5, 2023 rose by Tk 80 or 0.11 per cent to trade at Tk 72,252 per kg at the MCX from the previous price of Tk 72,172.
Besides, gold price was Rs 61,075 per 10 grams on Friday, according to rates published by the India Bullion and Jewelers Association.

The prices of gold and silver are also falling in the world market. Gold is trading at $1,900 an ounce on the Comox. In addition, the price of silver touched 23.26 dollars per ounce.
