Tata Motors owned luxury car brand Land Rover has launched the new Defender 130 Outbound Edition car. Land Rover has added a bunch of new features to this 5-seater. As powerful as the car looks, so is the engine.
The new Land Rover Defender has a V8 5 liter supercharged engine that can produce a whopping 500 horsepower. Despite its size, this car takes only 5.4 seconds to touch the speed of 0 to 100 kmph. The car engine has 6 cylinders which helps in generating this monstrous power. Mild hybrid diesel and petrol engine options present in the car.
This V8 engine was first used in the 1997 Jaguar XJ8 and XK8 cars. 4 liter engine was used then. 5 liters is only used by the company in the top models of this car. There is no denying that this car has left a distinct impression on the market in the past few days.
