At the Tokyo Motor Show, Suzuki showcased the images of their fourth generation Swift and EVX. The design of the new Swift is very attractive. It has many new features including bigger grille, updated bumper design. The DRL lighting headlamp design is also new. The grill is black.
Has Suzuki logo. The alloy wheels are new, and the new Swift is said to be more advanced than the previous Swift. ADAS has been offered to the Swift for the Japanese market. But it is not being brought to India due to price hike. Although the new Swift looks bigger, the looks of the previous generation have been retained. In India, the new Swift will only be available with the 1.2-litre petrol engine with manual and AMT options. The new Swift will be launched in India by next year, sold exclusively from Arena showrooms.
According to media reports about the engine power and mileage of the upcoming Suzuki Swift, it will be powered by a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder petrol engine, equipped with powerful hybrid technology. The mileage of this next generation hatchback is said to be 35-40 km per liter. It is said to be launched in India as a second option with the existing K-series engine.
The EVX electric SUV was also launched, which has already been showcased at the Auto Expo in India. Images of the interior of the EVX have also been revealed. The cockpit of the car looks quite attractive. It also has a floatal style center console, with a driving range of around 500 km. The new Swift will arrive ahead of the EVX by 2025.
